We manufacture laces,
straps and ropes
since 1990
A Slovak manufacturer with over 35 years of tradition. From a family workshop to a modern production facility — always with the same obsession for quality and breadth of range.
Who we are
KMIŤ s.r.o., headquartered in Stropkov, is a Slovak manufacturer of laces, straps, ropes and textile accessories. We produce braided, woven, twisted and crocheted laces from PES, PAD, POP and cotton in a wide range of colours, thicknesses and lengths.
Our products are used in leathergoods, haberdashery, the apparel industry, sport, the automotive industry and construction. Laces can be treated with hydrophobic, flame-resistant and wax finishes.
Our portfolio also includes Tiffany stained glass — for windows, doors, partition walls, furniture, lamps and decorative objects.
Our range
Built on Textile Expertise.
KMIŤ s.r.o. is a Slovak textile manufacturer based in Stropkov, producing shoelaces, straps, cords and ribbons since 1990. What started as a family production operation has grown into a full-scale manufacturer supplying B2B customers across Slovakia, the Czech Republic and wider Europe.
We manufacture everything in-house — from standard cotton and polyester laces to specialised products like NOMEX flame-resistant laces for safety footwear, hydrophobic TOURIST HYDRO laces for hiking boots, and custom city colour ribbons for Slovak municipalities.
We sell direct — which means better prices, direct communication, and the ability to customise orders to your exact specification.
Everything is produced in our Stropkov facility. EU-made, consistent quality, no outsourcing. When you order from KMIŤ, you order from the manufacturer.
Standard sizes, custom colours, special materials, specific lengths — we produce to your requirements. From waxed cotton to NOMEX flame-resistant laces.
No distributors, no markups. Our B2B prices reflect the cost of manufacturing — not the cost of a supply chain. Volume orders at honest prices.
