What is the difference between grosgrain, twill and plain weave ribbon?+
Grosgrain ribbon has a characteristic transverse rib — firm, durable, for edging and the textile industry. Twill ribbon has a herringbone (chevron) pattern — firm, slightly more flexible, also for binding and face coverings. Plain weave (edging tape) is the simplest weave — smooth surface, suitable for edging the edges of footwear and textiles.
