Technical specifications

Round cross-section (slim profile), material: 100% polyester, cellulose tip finish. Polyester fibre is resistant to UV light, does not fade even after repeated washing, and does not absorb water or mud the way cotton does.

Why polyester and not cotton for children?

Children put their shoes through everything – mud, puddles, sandpits, lunch. Polyester shoelaces survive all of it without losing colour or fraying. Unlike cotton shoelaces, which soften and fade after several washes, polyester retains its original appearance and firmness. They also dry quickly – if it rains and the child comes home with wet shoes, the shoelaces are ready for the next day by morning.

How to choose the right length for children’s footwear?

For children’s shoes with 4–5 pairs of eyelets, 80–90 cm is sufficient; for shoes with 6–7 pairs of eyelets we recommend 100–110 cm. If you are unsure, buy one size longer – excess can always be tied into a larger bow, whereas short shoelaces cannot be extended.
