Technical specifications

Round cross-section with a larger diameter of 4–5 mm, cellulose tip finish, material: 100% polyester. The larger diameter ensures higher tensile strength and longer service life even under demanding use. Cellulose tips make handling easier and prevent the end from fraying.

When to choose thick shoelaces instead of thin?

Thicker 4–5 mm shoelaces belong in footwear with larger eyelets and metal hooks – typically work shoes, hiking footwear and robust trainers. In this type of footwear, thin 2–3 mm shoelaces float in the eyelet, slip and come undone quickly. A thicker shoelaces sits firmly in the eyelet, holds its shape and looks solid. It also has higher tensile strength, which you will appreciate when tightening firmly.
