Description

Thick polyester shoelaces 120 cm long are ideal for mid-height footwear where higher strength and reliability are needed. Made from quality polyester renowned for its resistance to abrasion, tearing and moisture. Polyester does not absorb water, so the shoelaces also resist mould and microorganisms well.

Technical specifications

Round cross-section with a larger diameter of 4–5 mm, length 120 cm, cellulose tip finish, material: 100% polyester. The thick diameter gives the shoelaces high tensile strength and a robust appearance; the 120 cm length is suited to footwear with 6–8 pairs of eyelets.

For which footwear is 120 cm ideal?

A length of 120 cm is the standard for mid-height footwear with 6–8 pairs of eyelets or hooks – typically hiking shoes, work boots, high-top sneakers and outdoor footwear. With this footwear, shorter shoelaces (100 cm or less) barely reach the last pair of eyelets and leave nothing for a bow. 120 cm ensures there is a suitably long end remaining after tying, looking neat without hanging around the shoe. For taller footwear with 9 or more pairs of eyelets, we recommend opting for a longer variant (140 cm or more).
